Day 1 Beijing
ArriveBeijingin early morning. Our first stop is the impressive Tiananmen Square, where most of the national ceremonies are held. From the square, you can walk to the splendid Forbidden City. Upon arrival at the largest imperial palace, travelers are always impressed by the high red walls and large quantity of buildings with golden roofs. Then we walk to Coal Hill, which is a royal garden in the past where we can enjoy a panoramic view of Forbidden City. Then we drive to Beihai Park, a former imperial Garden. After thatwe head to the hotel for rest.
Today we first visit the fascinating Badaling Great Wall; we take the cable car up, and walk down. Then we drive to visit Summer Palace. The palace was used as the royal family's “Palace to avoid the heat” when in summer.Drive back to hotel.
Day3Beijing-Xi' with night train
Today morning, we visitTemple of heaven,whereancient emperorsworship the godsif time is early, we can see local people doingmorningexercise there.Thenwe drive to Shichahai Hutong to visit the traditional residence of Beijing with Rickshaws, which is an old way of transportation. Then we visit Houhai area by walking, which is a part of Shichahaiwith many local shops, we can do some local shopping here. Evening take night train to Xi'.
Day 4 Xi'
Upon arrivalwe visitSouth Gate Old City Wall, which is the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Then we go to Muslim Quarter. There are about ten mosques in this area, among which the Great Mosque is the most famous and popular.After that, wevisit Shaanxi Historical Museum, known as “the pearl of Xian, the treasury of China”Drive to the hotel for restand refresh.
Day5Xi'an-Suzhou by night train
Today you will be driven to the suburb area to marvel at the powerful Qin Terra Cotta Warriors. Then we drive back tosouth to visit the big wild goose pagoda, It was inscribed as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2014. The pagoda is a seven-story building, which is 64.5 meters high. It is a landmark of Xi'an.Evening take night train to Suzhou.
Day6 Suzhou
Arrive at Suzhou, visitGrand Canalwhichserves as the most convenient traffic web that covers the whole cityand linked the majority of Suzhou attractions; after that, we visitMaster of the Nets Garden,whichis the one with most artistic features and cultural values. It is a typical private garden composed by residence and gardening,recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to asilk factory. After the visit, transfer to hotel.
Day 7 Suzhou-Shanghai
Today we drive to Shanghai, on the way we visitTongli Water Town,whichis characterized by stone bridges and well preserved ancient architecture including private gardens, temples and houses.Afterthe visitdrive to Shanghai. In Shanghaiwe first visit Yu Garden including nearby Bazzars. In Yuyuan, you can see the sophisticated design and fine layout of pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters.Then we visit the Bund to enjoy the modern view of Shanghaiandgo to take elevator up to the TV Tower and take an overlook of the Shanghai City. After that, transfer to hotel and rest.
Day8Shanghai
Today we drive to visit the beautiful Water Town of Zhujiajiao including boat cruise. Then we drive back to Shanghai to visit Shanghai Museum, which specializes in ancient art works of China, especially bronze ware, chinaware, calligraphies and paintings. After that, we will take a walking tourthe famousNanjing Road.Transfer back to our hotel.
Day9Departure
Transfer to airport and take departure flight back home
